In Honolulu Real Producers August 2025

When Tiare Kabazawa’s daughter started preschool, she knew she wanted a career that offered more flexibility and fulfillment. What she didn’t realize at the time was that a chance opportunity would lead her to a thriving career in real estate.
“I kind of stumbled into it,” Kabazawa admits with a laugh. “I started working for a well-known developer, assisting the sales team, and before I knew it, I had my real estate license.” That was back in 2016. By 2021, she made the full transition into general brokerage, and she hasn’t looked back since.
A Passion for People and Problem-Solving
Kabazawa, now a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Realty, has built a career rooted in relationships, transparency, and hard work. With a proven track record and continued growth year after year, she’s showing that success in real estate isn’t just about selling houses—it’s about earning trust.
“I want my clients to feel informed and confident every step of the way,” she says. “Buying or selling a home is a huge financial decision, and my job is to make sure they understand the process, set realistic expectations, and ultimately achieve their goals.”
This dedication hasn’t gone unnoticed. Kabazawa is a recipient of Coldwell Banker’s prestigious Sterling Society award and has been nominated for the Aloha Aina Award three years in a row. She’s also an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) and an Inman Connect Ambassador. Most recently, she joined the Young Professionals Network (YPN) to further expand her connections and continue learning from industry leaders.
Inspired by Family, Driven by Experience
Born and raised in Kailua, Oahu, Kabazawa’s work ethic was shaped by her parents’ determination. “My dad took a huge leap of faith buying a home despite high interest rates and everyone telling him not to,” she recalls. “He worked overtime to provide for us, and my mom worked full-time too. Seeing their sacrifices taught me the value of resilience and homeownership.”
That lesson stuck. Determined to carve out her own path, Kabazawa worked multiple jobs growing up and became the first in her family to graduate from college, earning a double major in International Business and Marketing.
But her biggest inspiration? Her daughter, Ava. “She’s my ‘why,’” Kabazawa says. “Everything I do is for her—to provide stability, opportunity, and a future she can be proud of.”
Beyond the Sale
Kabazawa isn’t just about closing deals—she’s about building relationships. Whether collaborating with other top agents, mentoring newer agents, or helping first-time buyers navigate financial hurdles, she takes pride in making things happen.
“One of the biggest challenges in this market is affordability,” she explains. “Many buyers feel like homeownership is out of reach, but I always tell them: it’s not about where you are now, it’s about creating a plan. Whether it takes two years, five years, or more, I help them map out the steps to get there.”
She also gives back through the CARES Foundation, Coldwell Banker’s initiative that supports local nonprofits, disaster relief, and housing-focused causes.
The Real Estate Agent in the 49ers Jersey
Ask anyone who knows her, and they’ll tell you Kabazawa is as authentic as they come. “I’m not the real estate agent trying to fit into a mold,” she says. “I show up to an open house in a 49ers jersey during football season because I know it’ll start conversations and help me connect with people.”
And those connections matter. “Real estate isn’t just about transactions—it’s about relationships. My clients know I genuinely care about their long-term success, not just the sale.”
What’s Next?
Kabazawa sees herself continuing to grow, expanding her network, and possibly mentoring new agents. “I want to be remembered as someone who truly cared, who went the extra mile to help people achieve their dreams.”
For those entering the industry, her advice is simple: “Prioritize relationships, always provide value, and stay consistent. The market changes, challenges come up, but if you’re committed to learning and serving your clients, success will follow.”
And if anyone ever tells you something is impossible? Kabazawa has the perfect response:
“‘It always seems impossible until it’s done.’”
And with that mindset, there’s no doubt she’s just getting started.
